How to configure the ADSL2+ router - PLEASE ANSWER!

I have a Beetel ADSL2+ router which is left after using and removing the Airtel Broadband connection. Now I have kept another connection name Apollo of Pioneer Elabs and hence I want to usse the router only for wifi without any ADSL connection. I have been given only Internet cable. How ddo I configure the router?

To use the router you will need your login credentials . That is your login id, password, ip address, dns server, etc. That can be collected from the ISP. You will need to fix the internet cable line to the router and login in 192.168.1.1. Add up the above information one by one and then check. You can then enable wireless network. It depends on your security level you need to encrypt the wifi internet or just make it a public hotspot.

People can connect the ADSL2+ Router directly to a Ethernet adapter card on the computer by use of Ethernet cable provider. Here is another effective way to configure the ADSL2+ router.
First insert CD in CD ROM and go to the CD drive and select setup.exe.
You will see the “Ethernet connection” button. click on this button.
Then it will ask you some questions like Username and Password of your ISP, VPI, VCI etc. Fill up that all detail and select Save Configuration.
Then select OK button the to configure WLAN setting and click on Exit button.
