When computer tries to connect to internet, it just stays on acquiring network...

When trying to connect to my network, it doesnt get past the aquiring network address stage.

I have tried renewing the ip address but its just stays on the renewing adress message forever.
This is what i get from Ipconfig /all

It looks issue with the network adapter. I had seen recently my friend facing a issue with network adapter. He tried all configuration manually but still the lan thing stuck on acquiring network address. At last he showed the laptop to a service center who confirmed that the lan port is damaged. There are certain number of test that you can try. Like checking different cables, connecting on a different network, etc. If this works then the lan port is fine, the issue lies with the settings.
