Re: Is Avast Internet Security Worth Buying?

I installed Avast Internet Security 7 on mine system and I really like this antivirus, on Avast Internet Security 7 there are lots of new feature like this antivirus Combined with the Sandbox (manual) and AutoSandbox (automatic), Avast Internet Security, you can perform potentially dangerous applications in a protected area, similar to what happens in Kaspersky Internet Security. Along with this Avast Internet Security 7 integrates the innovative SafeZone, which opens a safe and clean desktop in which no spyware or hacker can monitor your activity and steal your sensitive data during online transactions. Avast Internet Security lets you know the reputation of the reputation of a web page while you're browsing.

Avast Internet Security also offers a modest anti-spam module and a filter in which web pages manually enter the URLs to block. Lacking for this form an intelligent algorithm capable of blocking in automatic sites of specific categories, For the rest Avast Internet Security includes the functions of version antivirus, with graphical monitoring of the eight modules of real-time protection that can be activated / deactivated as needed.
Also in this release, Avast Internet Security is a light, both in stand-by during scanning, content with a consumption of resources that makes it ideal for lower spec PCs.

Avast Antivirus Pro includes basic functions of remote assistance. Through the use of a code provided by the antivirus you may login and access the PC of a friend (or vice versa!) And easily solve any technical problems. There are no options; you can only decide whether to display the PC controlled full screen or windowed mode. Besides the classic update to the database of signatures, Avast Internet Security now includes streaming updates, a feature that enables cloud-based antivirus to stay constantly updated against the latest malware threats detected worldwide. I think this good antivirus and so therefore I would like to suggest you go with the Avast Internet Security 7.

I would recommend Comodo Internet Security (formerly Comodo Firewall) added new features such as protection of system files and Windows Registry entries. Once installed, Comodo Internet Security will show what programs are reliable and which not and will protect your PC warning if they try to access the computer, if you have a virus or a program tries to edit a registry key without authorization. Comodo Internet Security is always alert in the system tray, but we can perform a manual scan and manually add ports and connections to the firewall and protect files and folders from unauthorized access. Internet Security Pro 2012 includes additional functions such as protection for WiFi wireless connections. It also includes expert assistance that ensures the new generation of support 24 hours 24.
Pros
  • Easy to use and configure for any
  • Automatic protection and minimally invasive
  • Manual or scheduled scan
Cons
  • Too many settings

Beside this antivirus there is lots of good antivirus like: Emsisoft Internet Security and ESET. I have ESET in home and Emsisoft in office; both are working properly and they using low resource unlike Avast. The Emsisoft Internet Security: Anti-Malware is the generic term of all software against viruses, Trojans, spyware and spam as well as products for protection against all kinds of parasites on the Internet. It contains the engine with two award-winning scanners that can scan and clean infected computers as well as the powerful Guardian that helps prevent the computer from becoming infected again. Re: Is Avast Internet Security Worth Buying?

According to me Avast Internet Security worth buying because Avast keeps the eight shields in real time and add new modules of protection. Besides WebRep-web-site reputation and AutoSandbox-space in which to run suspicious files, comes the remote support. Remote Assistance allows a friend to connect to your computer (and vice versa) to solve technical problems that would otherwise be impossible to resolve by mail or telephone. It's as simple as cut and paste a code and press OK. Avast Free Antivirus is classic for updates using signature database, but also relies on the cloud more than ever. On the one hand, has a reputation service that checks the security of a file, on the other, is constantly updated via streaming. Avast Internet Security provide more protection compare to other antivirus product, The firewall of Avast Internet Security is not far behind. Automatically detects new network connections and quick setup allows you to assign security to each. You can define IPs friends, changing rules for each process and use the network utilities included. Avast Internet Security also offers a simple spam filter blocker website, which is more effective if you enable an administrative password in the program options. The offer of Avast Internet Security is complete with the usual quarantine files.
