since the year changed , accessing netgear WG302 via http ?

hello guys, I am at the stage where I am not able to confirm whether I need an updated firmware or not. But as I am getting this error recently, I don’t know what is the problem. Can you sort it for me. I am receiving a "Self Certificate" page when I was accessing my WG302's. thanks.

I would like to add further in this case and according to me, It is an expired certificate issue. So I was able to get this page to come up with that error when I powered down one of the APs.The AP still works, but you are not able to configure it. When I make attempts in another browser, it will tend to give me the same result.

I would say in this case that if you are connected with some device with the WG302 then it will not able to recognize it and there will definitely some issues . also I would like to tell you that there should be some network setup settings misplaced which are causing this .

I have some possible solution which will help in your case. try by resetting the browser on Internet Explorer and then make a test. You can also move to the Internet Explorer browser and check for some certificates. For this move in tool and then in the setting as well as security. In addition , you can look for one and delete. It not only helps in solving the issue but also helps to post actual screenshot of whole .

Hey here is some change I did and to my occurrence , my issue was solved. I took another SS from a computer at work, logging into one. And I tried with resetting that PC's Internet Explorer, and then made a check in the Tools and then in the options and then in the content you will be with options such as cleared SSL state .

I was also having a similar issue and in my concern , I can say that if you look in your certificates, you will have some definite help and see to it that you might come across or could find one that had that date. I had some misplacement's in this case and due to that I was facing the issue.

You can also make an attempt and it would definitely be worth to try to take one AP unit remove from the existing. You can also reset the unit along with test between the pc and WG only. There will be no issues further and they will all sort out. And to add in your solution, you can also check in the certificate whether it this model has expired.

Thanks for the reply and I would say that it is the certain in the model. After having the reset, I will not be able to get back in by means of the browser, as well as I do not have a null modem cable at the house. And as in case If Netgear will not tend to release an update, I might for all time pay for DD-WRT activation. And I will have the issue sorted.

It was solved. First of all I had made some connection with that device and after that I assumed that it would be well ok, but I seem to appear the same issue and then checked out and found that as my certificates were all expired it was whole causing that issue and so I would also tell other guys to take care of it.
