Uninstalling NOD32 Anti-Virus stops internet working

Hi, when I try uninstall NOD32 antivirus. It uninstalls successfully, but after I restart my PC, my internet stops working. I can ping websites fine, but my browser won't load, 'nor will any instant messaging programs. The only way I can fix it is by doing a system restore, which then restores the anti-virus. But I'm having too many false-positive problems with NOD32, so I really want it uninstalled. Any help? Thanks.

Thats really an Annoying problem with many antiviruses. Anyways, what you need to do here is to remove NOD32 completely from your systems. Even after uninstalling it from control panel, NOD leaves some files in your system including registries. Just download Download NOD32 removal tool from here, run it, follow onscreen instructions.

Also you need to remove following entries from registry:

[a] HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ESET
[b] HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ESET
[c] HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\egui

Just open command prompt (Win+R), and type regedit and enter the registry.
