Getting "AVG Antivirus Needs To Be Updated" Popup when AVG updated

Hello I have installed the AVG antivirus on mine system and recently I have found that mine antivirus always showing popup saying that AVG Antivirus Needs To Be Updated but I have recently updated the mine antivirus but still getting the this popup. Can anyone suggest me how to disable this notification on mine system?

If you’re using AVG 2012, there is no more option to remove this notification on newer version. I think we should wait for the news to remove the notification…

I am getting this same issue with the windows 7 operating system. Randomly I get the message saying that:” AVG needs to be updated”. But after that I when I tried to updated the AVG from popup nothing works. I have tried the lots of solution to solve this issue but nothing helped me to solve mine issue. Even I have tried to reinstall the AVG antivirus but still getting the same issue.

Try to do the below steps on your system and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. First of all open the AVG antivirus and under that make click on the advanced settings on the updated. Now on the advanced settings make click on the update and after that click on the Update immediately. Now go through the all the steps and then let me know the issue. After installing the latest updated and then performs the below thing:
• Empty temporary update files.
• Check conflict applications.
• Restart and try again.

I have gone through this same issue and I have downloaded the Disable AVG Notification on mine system and now I am able to hide the popup of AVG antivirus. Search for the Disable AVG Notification and after that install it on your system.

Ok just go through the below steps and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. To do this first open the notepad and after that type or copy paste the below code on your notepad:

@echo off
ren avgmwdef_us.mht avgmwdef_us.mht.bak
ren avgresf.dll avgresf.dll.bak
ren avgfree_us.mht avgfree_us.mht.bak

• Now once you done save this file as AVGNotifyOff.bat in Crogram Files/AVG/ location.
• Now just make double click on the AVGNotifyOff.bat on your system and after that your notification will disabled.
