How to setup HP ProCurve Switch 5406zl Vlan

so everything is working just fine the Vlans seems to be set up and working well and setup is 3 vlans. 101 is site A, 102 is site B and 103 is for servers on the both sites . the DHCP is also working properly on both system . DHCP server is 10.12.148.16 and plugs into B20. Now the problem is that the cline on the Site B switch is unable to get to the server plugged into Site A switch and same is with the Site A switch . is there anyone here can help me to know what is going wrong I would be very glad thanks

Hey can you tell me fi you are using the link in vlan 1 B21 as connection between sites . Because of you need declare a network and ip addresses on that both site

Hey thanks for the reply I really appreciate this but that is not the case. I am not using the Vlan1so there is no need to assign an IP address. The configuration is tidied up t take away all mention of it .

Hey is it possible to give you the default gateways of your servers and your clients? So that I be able to help you on this . make sure the default gateways of your servers is set to the IP address allocated to the switch in the relevant VLAN.

I don’t know what exactly the problem will be but if the switch is not a routing switch then you need to tagged all your vlan in the Inter-Switch Link. Is it possible to you provide the Site A configuration. Looks as if your configuration is not correct at and if the routing is only provided on switch B, then you have to allow the vlans 103 and 101 on link between switches. Hope this helps
