AVG removal utility is not having Options for Infected File

Today while browsing I was getting directed to ads or other search sites and I am getting redirected even when I am not clicking on any link, I ran AVG 2012 and it had detected 7 files which were Trojans but then amongst them there was one file which was 'White Listed' but then there are no option to replace the file. Is there anyone who can help me for resolving the issue?

I will suggest you to provide the below scan result:
    • Msinfo Output
    • GMER Scan Results
    • AVG Anti-Virus scan results

Re: AVG removal utility is not having Options for Infected File

I won’t be able to post the Gmer result as the program to run Gmer is not installed in my machine for now, where as the Msinfo application stopped at the step 2 and my computer is not running it again, I have found the below object information:
    Object Name C:/Windows/System32/drivers/smb.sys
    Detection Name Trojan horse Crypt.ANVH
    Object type File
    SDK Type Core
    Result Object (white listed)
    Action history (it is blank)
How can I replace the file or remove it?? Is there any way of doing the same??

In that case I just wanted to know that have you tried out renaming the Gmer.exe to some other name?? I also wanted to know if you are able to run other executable files without any issues. I also wanted to add that if the C:/Windows/System32/drivers/smb.sys system file has got infected then you will have to replace it and you can do that in the offline mode and replace it with the same version of the file. So after doing that just scan your computer with updated AVG Rescue CD. Just check it out and see which possible solution is helping you out.

I will try out the same but then I just wanted to share that I am not having access to another computer as well so is there any other option of getting a back up file, as the file is appearing to be quite critical, any further help for the same will be appreciated.
