Slow scanning speed in the AVG 2012 Internet Security

I have always been the trusted user to the AVG but as using the AVG 2012 Internet Security antivirus what I see that it takes much more time to scan and this I have been noticed from past few weeks. So I would like to know that what may be the reason for this. So is this the problem with the AVG or some other issue.

I would like to know that have you changed any settings or have you done any other changes in your computer as it seems to that this is happening because you have done any changes in the settings. Because my AVG 2012 Internet Security is working fine.

Nothing change has been done except kernel and program update but after this I am noticing slow scanning speed. As I have been using AVG antivirus from past three years and I have never seen such type of issues, so want to ask is this issue with the antivirus or not. And also I am getting ‘speed test’ overview in the AVG 2012 Internet Security and not able to understand regarding this pictogram.

As you are telling that you have recently taken the update and after which you have notice slow scanning speed. So for this let me tell you that this is the normal thing as when you take update it takes time to re-cache all the files. So for this you should not get panic as this is normal and so nothing worry.
