Not able to change the advance settings in AVG 2012 Free Edition

I have been using the AVG 2012 Free Edition antivirus, so when following this steps

Go to tools ==>Advance settings==> and after which scan for the virus if it detects the virus and select “Automatically Heal/Remove Infections” and click on apply it shows me the message “An error occurred when saving the configuration, specified file was not found.”

So for this want to know what may be the reason for this showing error.

Doing the scanning even I facing the same issue. so want to know how can I get rid of this error message.

For this issue try with the following steps and see whether it is able to solve the issue.

1. Try to show the hidden files ( to open the hidden files and folders press windows button + R, then in that type “Control folders” select ok click on view tab then select the radio button “show all hidden files and folders” click ok.
2. Now paste you path where your antivirus is located “C:\ProgramData\AVG2012\..........”
3. After doing this remove the cfgall and Cfg folders. After this reboot your computer.
