    mswinsock.dll32 file is having virus

I am running the Rogers antivirus software in my computer and that was corrupted due to some virus infection but I somehow managed to reinstall that. Now when I scan my computer with the help of this then it detects some virus in the mswinsock.dll32 file. But whenever I try to remove that then the antivirus software get crashed. When I restart that then it shows me a message that this cannot be solved as it is a system file. Can you guess any solution for this?

Are you the admin of the system? If not then this is the reason for this. Just login as the admin and then try to clean that file. This time it will not show you problem as admin has rights for the system files and if you have admin privilege then you can modify some of the system files as well.

If you are not able to delete that then you can just move that to quarantine and see if you are getting the same problem again. I don’t think that it will happen again this time.
