Hello i am using windows operating system and recently i have installed the Kaspersky Internet Security but after installing this mine databases haven't updated. i have tried to run the update patch but not worked to solve mine issue. now Kaspersky Internet Security Taskbar icon Showing "databases release time un-updated". can anyone suggest me how to solve this issue.

Even i have faced this issue and i have removed Kaspersky Internet Security through the removal tool and after that reinstalled it from the official release, after that i have installed the updated to patch and set the updater to check every hour but after doing this also i am not able to update the database and mine status of showing databases are updated, and mine PC also showing database update 30 minutes ago.

May be your system data and time are not correct and so therefore Check system date/time correct. go to the Kaspersky window:

• Settings > Update > Update source > Proxy server > unchecked proxy server > ok>ok>ok.

if you still face the same issue then i would like to suggest you to attach the update report. open the Kaspersky window and under that

• Reports > lower right > Detailed report, lower left > My Update center, then lower left > Save

now post on your next post.

One thing i have found is when i mouse over the icon on the task bar, this shows database release date with a time but when i check this updated was not done yet. when i open the KIS 2012 support page, database shows correct update time and date. I dont what is wrong with mine system. i have also found strange Animate taskbar icon but this not activated by default in KIS 2012.

Make sure you have not enabled the Animate Taskbar Icon When Executing Tasks option on the KIS 2012. if you enabled this then you will face this issue. just go through the below steps and after that make sure your getting the issue or not, Open KIS 2012 then go to:

• Settings > Advanced settings > Appearance >"Animate Taskbar Icon When Executing Tasks"
