Messenger Plus! not working after installing Bitdefender 2012

Recently I installed Bitdefender 2012 on my computer. I noticed an issue with Messenger Plus! installed on my computer. it did not seems to work at all on my system after installing above mentioned antivirus. There could be some kind of issue between Bitdefender 2012 and Messenger Plus!. can you give me brief idea why above mentioned issue is happening? Thanks a lot in advance.

After going through the issue of I am suggesting following steps which you can try to fix.

• You should launch BitDefender in Expert Mode and select Antivirus module.
• Now click on Advanced Settings and click on Disable Active Virus Control.
• After doing that see whether you are able to login.
• Once done click on Custom Level button which is located at Shield tab and uncheck Scan Yahoo Messenger Traffic and Scan Windows Live Messenger traffic check boxes,
• Click on Ok button and see whether the issue is persisting or not.

If above mentioned solution did not working then you will need to disable Real Time Protection on BitDefender 2012.

• You have to open BitDefender on your computer.
• You have to click on Settings and uncheck Real-time Protection which available under of Shield.
• You have to select total amount of time for what you wanted to disable the application.
• Now click on Ok button and Save the changes.

I was also suffering from the same issue which you stated over here. you will need to enable Safe mode in Messenger Plus!

You have to launch MSN messenger and go for Plus! and click on Software Not Loaded.

You have to check Disable safe mode option and close window.

Click on Ok and Messenger will restart and this time Messenger Plus! would load on your computer.

My friend was facing the same issue and he made the thing working by disabling Active Virus Control. He was having another security program running on his computer and due to that there was kind of conflict. Could be issue with BitDefender so I recommend you should contact technical support team to get further help on it.
