Asus RT-N12 Router repeater mode

I am having the Asus RT-N12 and this is used as the router. I wish to utilize repeater function with the router. I was going with the instructions from asus but that failed to work. It prompted me to repeater mode and the plug in to the network and after that launch quick installation setup. This is done by opening the internet browser. Problem is that whenever I make the wired connection then I am not able to navigate to the internet as the computer is interpreting. Can you tell me that what is the problem with this and how to get this resolved.

I would like to tell you that the missing link can be found elsewhere. If you want this then you can get to the below address:

<Repeater IP Address>/survey.asp

192.168.1.1/survey.asp

From here, you will be able to choose the wifi network. Once you get to this link then you will get it working. I found this useful with my Asus RT-N12. I hope that it will do the same for you.
