you can go to the internet after connecting through the Ethernet wire. You can say that Ethernet is the medium through which the information travels to the other computer. Internet Is the collection of huge information that is saved on the large servers.Ethernet is the cable connecting to the several computers where as internet is the network of cables connecting the computers world wide. Ethernet is available in small LAN, but internet is available worldwide.
