VPN server with static ip

Hi all,
we have belkin(f7d2301) router.we setup a static ip address in the router.now we want to set up the vpn server using the static ip in windows xp sp2.can any one please tell me the procedure to set up the vpn connection using the static ip in wireless router(belkin f7d2301) and any port forwarding necessary for doing so??
