How to do SNMP config on Cisco LWAPP?

I wanted to configure SNMP on lightweight access point? Current version running on WCS is 7.0.164.3. the WLC is running with 7.0.98.0. Well I am able to access with LWAPP by using SSH and you to enable the prompt. Following are the command which I am using.
    Code:
    AP01>ena
    Password:

    AP01#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

    AP01(config)#snmp-server community mycomm ro

    AP01(config)#exi

    AP01#wr
    Building configuration...
    [OK]
    NVRAM Verification Failed

    AP01#
Now question, can I add SNMP from WLC controller to WCS? Any help will be highly appreciated.

After going through the issue of yours I comment you are not able to poll AP directly however it will be able to get the AP statistics by simply polling WLC.

I am having SNMP community strings on both WCS as well as WLC. Well I am looking to have RO string on access point. If I am not wrong one will be able to query AP with SNMP monitoring software such as Solarwinds. Once I will use the above mentioned software I will post my experience over here so that all the users can learn from that.
