How can I transfer the .cfg file to modem?

I don’t why I am getting an issue while sending the config to modem so that I can sync. As I am trying the above mentioned thing coax cable was unscrewed from the modem. Ethernet cord and power is plugged with the computer. after that I went for telnet to tftp and I was expecting that the .cfg file to modem will begin to sync. I am running Windows 7 on my computer. thanks a lot in advance.

If I am not wrong you will be able to update the modem through. I am not sure about it. also you can ask the ISP to get the further help.

Yes one should contact the ISP in such situation. Mainly ISP use to push the configuration to the modem of yours. so you will not be able to update the firmware of the modem if it is provided by the ISP itself. in case you try to put the config file by yourself then I am suspecting that you might disconnected by the ISP.
