Want to disable the https on the WLC 5508

Hello guys….As using the WLC 5508 so want to disable the https in it. So as went doing with this what happened is that by mistakenly disabling the https even the http got disabled. So I would like to know how can we disable only the https and not the http. So do anyone have the idea about this so that we can disable the https instead of the http.

Even… I would like to know the same as am too having the similar issue. So for this I want to know that is it possible to use the port 8080 for the web authentication instead of the port 80 for this. So if somebody know about this then do help me with this.

For this I would say that if you want to disable the https and not the http then you should try to reload it after you disable the https and the SSH on the web management. And try to reboot the WLC 5580 and see after it.

As I did doing with this and what I have find is the new problem with the custom web authenticate login page. Now instead of opting for internal when trying with the custom web authentication page what I see is the authentication is not functioning properly. So for this what should I check for web authentication page.

As you are saying that you are having trouble with the web custom authentication then for this I found the exact reason and the issue is with the coding part of the html. And so for this go to the Cisco tool website and in that download the webauth bundle file for the WLC 5508. I guess it will work for you as it did work for me.
So those who are looking for it and can try doing this I hope those who are having issue with it doing this can overcome by it.
