    c:\Windows\svchost.exe (Trojan.Agent) infected on my computer

    Hello,

    Last night I have scanned my system with the AVG antivirus and while doing this I have got error message saying that: " system infected with c:\Windows\svchost.exe (Trojan.Agent)". I tried the lots of solution to get rid of this issue but nothing helped me to remove this virus..

    To resolve this issues please disable system restore on your machine, if this doesn't work then you can directly delete the files from this path c:\Windows\svchost.exe (Trojan.Agent) manually and reboot your system.

    Just go through the below steps to remove the c:\Windows\svchost.exe (Trojan.Agent) virus.

    1. Click on start click on run.
    2. Type CMD.
    3. In command prompt type the below command which is mentioned in quote.

    C:\Windows\System" or "C:\Windows\System 32
    attrib -h -r -s scvhost.exe
    attrib -h -r -s blastclnnn.exe
    attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf
    del scvhost.exe
    del blastclnnn.exe
    del autorun.ini
    cd\
    attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf
    "del "autorun.inf"
    once you finished this and then reboot the system.

    I was facing the similar issue, I tried lots of solution but I was not able to find the solution to resolve it. Later on I found a solution so I am sharing with you please follow the below steps.
    1. Start Menu Select Run
    2. Type Regedit
    3. Click on registry editor please find the below location in registry editor.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>CurrentControlSet>Services>
    now here delte the below keys from left side:
    RpcPatch
    RpcTftpd
    After making necessary changes please reboot your system.

    If all the above solution is not working for you, then please repair your windows. I had lots of virus in my machine, but none of the solution was working for me, later finally I repaired my windows and my problem was resolved.

    I would recommend to Repair your OS which should take care of it !!
