Email Integration with ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5

I am using ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 with the Thunderbird 6.0.2. on my PC which is running on the Windows XP Home SP3. And when I checked for the settings with the NOD32 Email Client Protection, Email Client Integration at there I found that all boxes are checked for all the email clients. But here I am not getting the way to find how to know that if integration in Thunderbird is actually working?? Please reply me back here if anyone have the suggestion about this and also reply me back if here anyone also searching for the same things.

Here I would like to say to you that ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 and also the other versions of this supports the integration function. And also for your information I would like to say here that email received via POP3/POP3S or else form the IMAP/IMAPS is scanned regardless of the email client used.

Ok, I know about this thing that you are saying to me. But here I want to know that if integration in Thunderbird is actually working that how can I come to know about this?? I am asking you for this because, before this version I was using the version 4, and in that version there was an option to scan messages that appears in the Thunderbird menus. But when I am trying to do this thing in the version 5, there I didn?t get this. Why this happens to me?? Can you please reply me back about this??

Ok now I get it. Can you reply me back about the older messages that may have slipped before the signature was out?? And also for that you need to do the NOD32 disk scan find those old infections.

What you are trying to say over here?? Are you trying to say that you are not having controls to the emails in your inbox?? If yes, then for that I would like to say to you that if you are received email which is having the outdated signature database or else at the same time you get that email protection was disabled for some reason then at that time I will suggest you to rescan your whole inbox later and after that you will get that you problem to be resolve. Try with this and reply me back if you are not able to try with this also.

For that I would like to say to you that antivirus and antispam software will effect on the incoming message until it will reach to the messaging software, they are designed for doing this type of the effect. And if you are using the new NOD32 version 5 then in that messaging only allows a new check and also this helps to check for the emails only once at the starting. For your kind information I would like to say here that there so many of the other user of the Thunderbird who are complaining about not see the ESET bar in Thunderbird. And yet they have not get the suggestion about this thing. And I would also like to say here that MART Security the anti-spam does not work with Thunderbird. I have tried with checking this thing and for that reason only I am telling you this things.

Yes, I also agree with that problem and for getting resolve this type of the problem there are needed to release the new updates for the ESET. And I can say that this seems to be the common problem and that in order to provide a new plug-in we need a new update for that. I have also experience this all type of the problem and for that reason I am telling this all things over here. I think that if they are going to release the plug-in in a way similar to the release of program modules then this thing will be better for all the users.

Ok, thanks for all the suggestion about this. But I would like to say here that still I am having the same problem that my antivirus program no longer integrates with my email program. please reply me back about this.

Ok for you, I will say that if you are using ESET smart security and also spam filter then at that time you will not need to be concerned whether or not integration with a particular email client is supported. This is because, that system will scan the incoming emails for the presence of malware. And this will not affect your system. So don?t worry about that thing.

Yes, I get the same problem with the Email Integration. And I am also using the ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5. For getting resolve this problem I tried with the so many of the suggestion which you all have suggested over here. And this really worked fine for me. Thanks friends for suggesting us about this. And also before getting this all suggestion I was just using the ESET smart security and also spam filter and I am sure that for that reason only I was getting this type of the problem. Now all thinkigs are running very fine. Thanks for that.
