Whether you’re installing a wireless access point in a home, small office, or large building, few best things help to avoid this security mistakes. They are as follows:
  1. Keep away from placing access points near structural metal
  2. Make use of Power over Ethernet as necessary
  3. Reset the access point password right away
  4. Stay away from overlapping DHCP scopes
  5. Get advantage of built-in security features
This are the main five things that woks at the time of creation of WEP to avoid the blatant security mistakes. There are few also present but this five are the best so far.

Small businesses can use a more robust multi-SSID multi-VLAN solution like a Cisco 851W wireless router. Such type of devices is being also best for providing the security to this wifi network. Try such things and check its result onto your network.
