Netgear WNCE2001 could not connect to wifi network

I tried to connect my WNCE2001 to SAT-Receiver in order to the internet in excess of my wifi-router. Currently I'm attempting to install the bridge devoid of WPS with no achievement. The WNCE2001 locates my WiFi, except don't obtain a connection. The signal strength is at 100% and the WPE-Password is accurate. What can be so?

Re: Netgear WNCE2001 could not connect to wifi network

Your router is indeed a connection to the Internet and it has saved all the necessary credentials. It does this via wireless access to all wireless devices available that are authorized to do so. The question now:
  • Since WPS does not even work out, will probably be identified by your wireless SSID and encryption provided with any.
  • Have you entered the correct SSID and key Netgear adapter?
  • If the MAC address of the Netgear router as a wireless adapter in device approved (if MAC filter active)?

Re: Netgear WNCE2001 could not connect to wifi network

When WNCE2001 Netgear is a wireless bridge that can bring you devices that are not wireless-enabled, but have an Ethernet connection to the wireless network. To do this, simply connect the device you want with the W-LAN bridge and there you can go to the desired Internet device. Among the devices include the following: Xbox 360 pp., TiVo, Blu-ray player, etc..

There is a DHCP suddenly I can connect any equipment wired but not wireless. That's what I want. And I do not know the network administrator of the building.

Re: Netgear WNCE2001 could not connect to wifi network

For all the owners of the routers standard wireless LAN secure, Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), pre-configuration is as we will see a formality. With Push 'N' Connect, a simple press of the WPS button and voila, this is really what is expected of true Plug and Play! For others, we detail how to install more traditional CD or drivers without worry and should be performed only once. This point may be obvious to some but it will not necessarily obvious, we must also know that this adapter Ethernet to Wi-Fi in a second step can be set further forward and that in any OS ( Windows, OS X, Linux distributions) from a web browser.
