Cannot connect Netgear WNCE2001 to Verizon Actiontec Router

The problem is I am not able to connect to my Actiontec to the netgear internet adapter but my Apple Extreme just very well. I obtain the typical "cannot connect, progress nearer to your router and attempt again". There have to be a setting anywhere that is stopping the connection seeing as it connects immediately toward the Apple Extreme Base Station.

I think, however, that Telecom is a problem. Similar thing happened to me at the time of Alice 640. My modem is hooked and the telecoms. It was a problem that virtually DSLAM card was not handled by the modem router like the netgear.

To get to the configuration of the router you must enter the IP address of the router in the address bar of your browser. Your computer must be set to either DHCP, or you have an address from the same address range as the router assigned.

I encountered the same problem: First of all, check the firmware version in the status of your router. Version 1.3.00 automatically reconnects. So just to update the firmware on the official site and there is no more problem. To update the firmware, simply follow the instructions in the "maintenance" and click upgrade the router. Note: The firmware version I initially was 02/01/00 and there I had a bp of reconnection.

You give all the information needed.
    • I understand from your text with your IP, your Internet provider intended.
    • Connect your router to your modem (WAN port router)
    • Connect your PC to a port on your router.
    • Turn on your PC: "Automatically obtain IP address"
    • Log into your router in the manual IP address is what you have to use.
    • Select DHCP server in the router and set it as necessary.
    • Depending on the type of provider (DSL or Cable) you need the router in the WAN section at all properly.
    • For example, you need Comcast MAC address of the PC that you can clone to the Internet router.
