Unable to install AVG Internet Security 2011 64 Bit on windows 8

I am trying to install the 9 AVG Internet Security 2011 64 Bit on my desktop from today morning but it’s not installing on my pc I don’t know why this is happing

For some cause I cannot install it on the windows 8 but I was able to install it on Windows 7 but not on windows 8 WDP dose anyone knows what the problem I would be really glad to know about this

May be its AVG gives you free of charge edition however with less features all the time, i don't think a paid one will impact the installation. I ave Just spoken with my local AVG reseller. The advice is NOT to use it with Windows 8 at this early stage.

in latest years, AVG was tricky anyway. You are perhaps well again off using Microsoft Security Essentials which works well. In my club team that had 6 triples heavily infected system boots AVG antivirus program was installed on all systems. It took three people a week to get everything in order. Since then AVG I would not touch with a pole of 10 feet.

I've seen more times than I care about. Still, I respect a lot, but I'd like WHS is not perpetuated such subjective cases.

I've been using AVG for years. It's still on my Win7 system when starting , but I will defend to do the job in 8102 Windows 8 for now.
