Re: Error while moving to iCloud from MobileMe

Before proceeding to icloud, you must ensure that all devices and computers that you use with icloud have the following requirements:
  • The iPhone, iPad and iPod touch must be running iOS 5 or later.
  • The computers must be running Mac OS X 10.7.2 or later Lion.
  • The PC must be running Windows Vista or Windows 7 (Outlook 2007 or 2010 is required to access contacts and calendars).

Re: Error while moving to iCloud from MobileMe

Before proceeding to icloud, you must back up your contacts, calendars and bookmarks . If you have a MobileMe Family Pack, add or remove family members from your MobileMe account before moving to icloud. In fact, you cannot manage these accounts after your visit to icloud. The family members can spend individually icloud when they wish. If a family member passes icloud, the account is no longer associated with your Family Pack. You cannot register to a new family member to replace the old one.

Re: Error while moving to iCloud from MobileMe

When switching from MobileMe to icloud, and if you use the new MobileMe Calendar, your data is moved from the MobileMe servers to servers icloud. Devices are then configured with the new information serveur.Vous can confirm that you use the new MobileMe Calendar at me.com / calendar. If you can view the events from your calendar, you have made an upgrade to the new MobileMe Calendar. If you do not use the new MobileMe calendar before moving to icloud, you must disable calendar synchronization on all devices iOS, and choose to keep the calendar data on your device. If you do not, you could lose data in your calendar on your device iOS after your visit to icloud. To disable the Calendar on your iOS device, tap Settings> Mail, Contacts, Calendars> MobileMe. Clear the calendar and choose the option to keep the data on your device.

Re: Error while moving to iCloud from MobileMe

When switching from MobileMe to icloud, you keep your MobileMe data, but they are all sent to your iDisk (including Gallery and iWeb applications) to the extent that your email is now in icloud. In addition, you get free of additional storage space for your icloud account until 30 June 2012 (with the exception of the accounts of members of a family). To check the amount of storage space available free of charge, go to Settings> icloud> Storage and backup your device iOS 5.

Re: Error while moving to iCloud from MobileMe

Large companies should consider the security features of a cloud provider individually and in individual cases to decide whether the proposed security mechanisms are sufficient for the specific needs of the company. Because of the low standardized approach in the use of security technologies in cloud-computing systems, this is not guaranteed. The benchmark is also the general safety objectives of IT security, that confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, commitment, availability and privacy. "The current cloud services shows that come with infrastructure services a variety of security technologies, while already being used in the fields of application and platform management and compliance, the cloud provide the required protection goals.

A further weakness is the service-level agreements (SLAs), so the agreements on the rights and obligations between the cloud users and cloud providers: Add the usual arrangements only minimal guarantees of quality of service of the cloud service. Above all security guarantees are only rudimentary and documents necessary for the functions by the cloud provider adequately. "Often takes the security on offer only a minor role, so that will be required before deciding on a cloud service, detailed information from the manufacturer.
