want to purchase a server with external HarD drive for ecommerce

Hello to All!
I am in need of advise on what to purchase for my newly formed small online department store. BigCommerce is hosting the store but I want to purchase (used) updated PCs and need to know if I should purchase a server, ext. H/D, both or 1? Due to my budget, I will be purchasing used. Any advise will be so greatly appreciated!

Surely for a online store you will need to a good system for better user activity. Dell and hp have some solution for this. They have pre-configured server as per your need. But you are planing to buy a used one so for that you will need a better hardware details. I had provided some reference links below. Do visit them and have a look no the models.
