Where I can get MAC OS X 10.6 compatible drivers for netgear WG111v3

Got Netgear WG111v3 to help me connect wirelessly through an ISP signal extremely weak, but they have nothing but troubles when trying to install the Netgear software / driver. I downloaded the driver intended for Mac OS X 10.5, nevertheless am receiving the subsequent error: System extension cannot be used.

The system extension "/ System/Library/Extensions/RTL8187BI.kext" was installed inappropriately and cannot be used. Please endeavor by reinstalling or get in touch with the product vendor for an update. I’m running Mac OS X 10.6.4. Does anyone know if an updated driver or can I ignore this error message?

The facility is said to have ended and restarted my macbook, but the Netgear WG111v3 just not recognized. I really wish I sent this question to Netgear support, but seem to be a lost cause. Does anyone know the email address or how to find support on the website?

What you observe is what you get. There is no driver obtainable for 10.6.You will have to deal with support people of netgear and open ticket with them for these issues.

Some smart people have made small changes required to get this working in 10.6. What's more, they've packed in a dmg.

I was having the same troubles as the OP - and phoned Netgear support told to replace the product to the store . I had to replace because there was no driver and no prospect now of a future.

In fact there is a 10.6 driver, although strangely Netgear doesn't have it on their site. I can't seem to establish the URL where I situated the 10.6 driver for WG111v3, although previously downloaded & it worked huge. My girlfriend's Macbook Pro has a nonfunctional airport, and I bought her a WG111v3 to put back the functionality.
