When used in cameras, the card allows users to exchange data with other compatible cameras, and smartphones with computers, provided they also have WiFi connection. Regarding the data, the card is compatible with all cameras, provided they are equipped with an SD card slot, while the same does not happen for receiving data from other devices. This is why Toshiba has said that several manufacturers are considering whether to launch products compatible with these cards.

Nowadays, I think that almost any system it has card readers. It seems however useful to your SD card with your tablet or your phone to connect. Phones and tablets have more and more often 8 GB or 16 GB internal memory (phones) and you see more and more tablets with 64 GB variants in addition to the 16 GB and 32 GB versions. Now maybe a little on the expensive side, but, this is not always the case with new (er) technology? Once more competition in this market with this technology prices fall and more consumers will also use this to make.
