Getting "Error 3048 3" on Norton Internet Security 2012 beta

Hello I have installed the windows XP operating system on mine system and I have also installed the Norton Internet Security 2012 beta recently. Last night working on the system I have got the error message saying that:” Error 3048 3” from the NIS 2012 beta, can anyone suggest me what is the Error 3048 3 and so that I can get ride the Error 3048 3.

Hello thanks for the replay and I would be pleased about your suggestion, as above said that I have updated the Norton Internet Security 2012 beta through the running the Live update but after updating the Norton Internet Security 2012 beta I have faced the same issue. Now I don’t how to solve this error message, can anyone suggest on this issue.

The error 3048 is related to missing DLL files and to solve this issue you need to registry the DLL file and after that you can solve the issue. To do this you need to go through the below steps: first make sure you have login with the administrator mode and after that make click on the start icon on the desktop and after that click on the run. Now on the run type: regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\dllfile and after that make click on the ok button. Now once you done and after that make install the some of the good registry cleaner on your system and after that make install it on your system and after that reboot the system and then go through your issue.

Even I have faced this issue and after that I have followed the below steps and after that I have solved mine issue and to get ride this error message you need to go through the below steps: first go to the add/remove program on the control panel and under that uninstall the NIS 2012 and after that reboot the system and then install the NIS 2012 and after that again reboot the system. Now once you reboot the system and after that make updated you’re NIS and after that let me know the issue.
