So I want to downgrade to the older version to do port forwarding. So right now I want v55.1.04.02 or V55.1.03.06 , my friend told me that this versions will provide port forwarding. And other question about it . if I downloaded one of them will I have to configure it after installation or will it do setting automatically. So I need help for reconfiguring it. So please provide me the solution.

Try to do this it will solve your problem of port forwarding. Only one change you have to do Uncheck PPPoE option and select bridged. Now click on Reboot. Also try to user dialer setup in it. If it doesn’t work try to use those setting on another pc and check if it works for that or not. You can try to use UDP as the protocol it can solve the problem.

Your instruction are useful, I successfully installed the older version on my modem and also added port forwarding for it but the port forwarding still not working for me. To check whether it’s working or not. I have run my call of duty 4 server. In this I can connect using my ip address but I can’t able to connect using external ip. I have checked the port whether it’s open or not. But it’s closed.
