Antenna for 802.11n card (42T0825) on Lenovo T61

Just now I have got a new 802.11 a/b/g/n card (42T0825) and prepared to obtain it installed devoid of adding the 3rd antenna. However through obtainable 2 antennas (in that one is grey as well as another one is black), the card has 3 connectors. Therefore my query is: which 2 connectors should I have to employ? Any help would be very much helpful.

The 802.11n 'he cards have indeed all three antenna connectors, so that's no problem. However, since you want only to compensate for the slight disturbance caused by the fact that your computer is under the table, I wonder if not enough simply a single-antenna been to strengthen the wireless signal is sufficient. You have to ultimately not use all three antenna connectors. I would be interested in any case, what came out in the end. Maybe after you post your experiences here again purely: with how many Wi-Fi antennas you've strengthened your signal and whether it was sufficient for your needs.

If it's the similar connectors like on top of my N-card, the #3 one is the one inside the center, and the one you must not employ (it's intended for the white antenna-cable you don't encompass). Which ones you attach toward #1 as well as #2 doesn't actually matter, except the succession is grey, white, black, therefore grey for 1 moreover black meant for 2.

Since the card uses 3 antennas cause I think we have put 3 more powerful antennas (one alone cannot) if we want to win something. The N Wi-Fi cards that use multiple antennas in MIMO working to improve the signal i.e. with multiple antennas to transmit and receive more efficiently. The problem has been solved very simply with an WiFi antenna N (3 antennas so) that I plugged my card the signal is now "very good" and no points. Like what even the maps N often need an antenna.

First of all tell me why do you need three antennas, there is no really good 802.11n cards that achieve good results in the n-region, which then fall back on the b-region and all times as rich two antennas. Finally, I had delivered to a test: I connected a single antenna (scheduled for maps G) on my map N: it worked perfectly, as well as with my antenna set for N. You still have to know that my livebox that emits G, as the Livebox broadcasting in N are only available in Paris at the moment, and should arrive soon in the province.

You should, logically, take a current 300MBit card with 2 antenna connectors. The very old 300MBit cards have 3 antennas used. The final N specifications are actually so that in principle applies: 1 = 150MBit antenna. MY best option is buy the laptop manufacturer antennas dual majority, so do not even have to distinguish "Version xy when the model with 5GHz antenna so otherwise." Costs in purchasing good work. Moreover, even if that were not made for 5 GHz, will it work

The protocol uses 3 antennas 802.11n because it uses 3 different frequency channels simultaneously to transmit the data received. This way you can increase the amount of data transferred per unit time. At the level of its surface, probably only one antenna has the same performance 802.11g. Simply put in transmitter and receiver, should be seen not to seek to improve the reception (the laptop) but directly sending the signal that I guess is kind Libebox or freebox
