How to break into a wireless router?

I have an amateur job installing telephones for citizens for hard hearing. From time to time I need to join your phone to an obtainable wireless router, but the client has no clue as to the key or code. From time to time written on the router, but from time to time an important person has been distorted (not the client - which is frequently the fortune that will be able to turn on a PC). So is there a free (or cheap) application or technique that permits me to observe the code so you will be able to obtain on the phone and the phone will talk to the router.

Wireless routers surround a reset switch, more often than not in the rear, with the intention of if you push and aid for 15 seconds to approach another time to the user and the password to the default values. The default values can be found on the website of the manufacturers. Representative consumers are user = admin, password=password hope this helped you and if you got any more doubt you can ask here.

I have reset switch on my router other than I cannot restart the router, inside observation of the fact with the intention of they are part of the customer systems. It is possible that other machines are based on the regulations in the router. See in your mind's eye of a father of 65 years in Florida, whose 40-year-old child visits infrequently. Otherwise even a house in the midst of more than a small number of machines.

In universal, we will not go into the router. At most, the router unspecified model could have a "guest" or "read only" login available, users forget to change your password. That will allow you to read and write parameters. So you can safely restart the router to the values and put everything back correctly. Also perform not trouble to talk about whether it is a DSL, cable or satellite. If DSL, you have a possible trouble with PPPoE, as you almost certainly will not with no trouble extract the password of the account. Fortunately, most ISPs have methods to change the password by phone or online. In some cases, the same password is used for email, so make sure that email is still working after restarting the router. If it is a DSL, and you have a separate DSL modem and wireless router, which is a safe bet that the PPPoE password stored in the modem, not the router. This is the official AT & T method, which does not use. I can configure the modem to save, and install the PPPoE account information in the router. Also, whenever I encounter such situations (very often), I find it useful to call anyone just set up the system. It is usually a relative or someone the retirement home / village in the town with a track. 99% of the time, point me to a piece of paper with scribbles all I need or printed on it, carefully documents folder between computers, and that elderly homeowners forgot to mention.

On the other hand, the cause for the place is to visit a lot of different house and have to live by means of different routers. Yes, a number of are simple, but for many in any case it was written that is lost or the person who created it is not available. Many customers are 70 or older and are barely able to turn the machine :-( (In short I think I'm screwed. The company advises us to use a cable connection and do it often, but it puts the phone near the equipment and the customer wants somewhere.

Nice and paid by the FCC. I do not see why you need an Internet connection when broadband, which means they already have a computer. That could just use any chat program. I have a relative almost deaf using Skype for voice chat and quite effectively. I guess the phone is a conventional POTS line, although you can connect to a VoIP FXO / FXS box. I think this will help a lot. There is no subject more with this thing.

The idea that the phone is to help people with hearing impairments to communicate with the world better. I have seen many of them are happy when you help them. That's why I'm working for the company. Unfortunately, this is version 1 phone and needs several improvements, but we're working on it. Indeed, customers do not need a computer, only 15.95 a month DSL connection. Equipment needed for the first time registration and I have done my own netbook. Telephones have been installed for people 85 years of age.
