How to do port forwarding in weird Linksys WRT54G at port 80 and 443?

I have a WRT54G. The whole thing is operational in good health waiting nowadays. Her port 80 (http), 443 (https) and ports 20-22 (FTP and SSH), send to an inside static IP address (192.168.1.139) server. I too had port 8082 forwarded to the Internet Camera with static IP address 192.168.1.150.Today Internet bought a camera to replace one that failed. The provisions as another static IP 192.168.1.150 on port 8081 and set the WRT54G to reach your destination. At at hand, for a number of mysterious cause, everything works except for ports 80 and 443. In other words cams SSH, FTP and the Internet are easy to get to from exterior. However, when I try to access the web server, I can see that the shipment is not working.

You call to check the IP / MAC address mismatches. If you're by means of a peripheral switch to connect in the direction of the router, attempt resetting the turn off of the conquest for a a small figure of seconds and then plug it again. In addition create that everything is set in the router's configuration utility, as it is supposed to be. You might also need to restart the router, depending on what the genuine difficulty is.

I will be able to reset all the bridges and the take it easy of every one team. Subsequent to a number of experimentation, I believe the router is bad. I drive reset previous to the first post here, other than I reloaded a preceding saved configuration .I will resolve unbreakable rearrange backside to industrial unit defaults and reconfigure you. I include doing later, as that would alter a job that needs to complete first.

It might be better if they keep us posted on your development. Consequently, citizens by means of comparable troubles will be capable to locate the thread again and in the approved manner diagnose the difficulty on their end. in addition, do not know if the router supports this, but might be worth your time to investigate a firmware upgrade or replacement for DD-WRT or something of the height (if possible).

Back to the short story, this ultimately determined that the new camera had a capacity UPnP and UPnP by default. The WRT54G also has UPnP enabled by default. The WRT54 also appears to feature completely ignore the strangeness of his forwarding table as soon as the first device with UPnP forwarding shows up. This totally explains why my router seemed to go crazy as soon as the new camera was connected. Definitely an undocumented feature in the WRT54G. I guess that decides it is used all UPnP-based setup automatic forwarding or forwarding the router table, do not mash up the two. Turning off the UPnP in the new camera restore sanity to my network. Now everything is fine and I can access my web server again.
