folder access permisson for a single user in LAN

I want to permit a single user on LAN to access a Particular folder in Windows XP system. All the other users could not access that folder through LAN. Plz. suggest the exact way how to configure the Win XP system.

    Thanks in advance

For that on the system where the folder, right click on it and then click on sharing. In that you have option of sharing. In that click on permission. Here you will get two box. The first one is for the name of user and the below is for sharing rights. From above click and remove all. Then add a new user and allow him full control. You can also also add other users in that and provide limited rights. This becomes much easier if you had installed Windows server.
