How to remove Defender.exe virus

Hello everyone I have installed the windows XP on mine system and I have installed the Norton antivirus on mine system. Form last one week mine system continuously popup every few second saying that Defender.exe virus detected. I have scanned mine system with Norton antivirus but after that also I have got the same issue. Now I don’t know what to do and how to remove the Defender.exe virus, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

I would like to suggest you to following steps and after that you can solve you issue. To do this you need to go through the following steps: first make click on the start icon on the desktop and after that click on the urn. Now on the run type regedit and after that click the ok button. Now on the registry editor go to the following locatioand after that delete the al values:

I have faced the same problem and I have followed the below steps and after that mine issue was get solved. to do this go to the windows explorer and under that go to the below location and after that delete the all files and after that let me know the issue:

I think your antivirus not updated and therefore you’re getting this issue and so I would like to suggest you to update the antivirus on your system and after that make scan on your system and then your issue will get solved. First go to the antivirus website and after that make update your virus and once you finish the updating and after that make scan on your system and after that let me know the issue.

I have gone through this same issue and I have tried the all issue but none of them helped me to solve mine issue and finally I haves decided to install new antivirus and after that I have installed the one good antivirus and after that I have get ride mine issue.
