How to solve connectify problems with McaFree firewall

Hello friends, I have McaFree firewall problem for that reason I am over here to get some help from you all experts. So please have a look at the problem and help me to get it solved. Please, thanks in advance to all of you. What settings do I have to do for the Connectify software to work. It’s wired to hear but other laptops can connect without any issue but the trouble is that they are not able to connect the internet and if the firewall is off then every things works fine without any issues. Please suggest me what should be done.

McaFree it’s nice but I personally don’t like it. I think you should switch on to some another antivirus such as the AVG etc. I also once had the similar kind of problem as you are facing right now. I tried to solve it and it took me more than two days but my connectify was not able to connect the internet and finally I was tired and I quitted McaFree and switched on to AVG and everything worked fine for me without any pre settings.

There are many solutions you can apply to sort out the things. I think changing the game is the sign of the losers and running away from things. Switching the antivirus is not the solution, what if I want to use McaFree only. I am using the same thing, and I am also facing the same problem and I am still finding out the perfect solution for this. But temporary I have found out an alternative which can be used i.e if McaFree support is not working than currently use the windows firewall and when the prefect cause is found out switch on to that setting and use McaFree again.

Here are some of the setting that need to be done
Open the respective Ports
• In Connectifyd.exe you should have following settings
o UPnP - 1900 (UDP), 2869 (TCP), 5000 (TCP)
• In ConnectifyNetServices.exe you should have following settings
o DHCP - 67 (UDP), 68 (UDP), 1317 (UDP)
o DNS - 53 (UDP), 1303 (UDP)

Hello friends I have tried the above setting and its working very fine for me. First I was totally frustrated because of the same issue that is mention in this post, but really speaking now I am tired of McaFree and I want to change the antivirus so please suggest me some nice antivirus which is compatible with the connectify. You can use any of the antivirus because all are nice and have their own specialties. All of them will help you removing the virus if you use them properly. But here is the list of antivirus which are compatible enough with the connectify
• McAfree
• Zone Alarm
• BitDefenter
• Kaspersky
• AVG
There may be many more but I know this much only.
