Problem with LAN, Wireless works fine Win7

    Hey Guys,

I'm running on a Windows 7 machine and I'm having difficulties connection to the internet using a LAN cable. I'm behind a router, if that's of any help.

However, my Wireless connection (to the same modem obviously) works just fine and there's other people in the household using the same modem with a LAN cable and theirs just works fine.

I can get a connection to the Network, but I don't have any Internet access...

Here's the extract of "ipconfig /all" if it's of any help:

Just Try stopping and rebooting the LAN Adapter through the Network and Sharing Centre. With any luck, it will make your LAN/internet connection work again without having to run through a whole reboot cycle. I would be very eager to know if the LAN stopping/restarting works for you. So please let me know the result.

You have to check the Device Manager for valid Wire card entry.

If there is No valid entry, delete any Bogus Entry, and re-install the Wire card's Drivers. Try to install the latest drivers of the card from the support page of the manufacturer. Download the drivers and unpack them to a folder of your choice. In the Device manger, right click on the adapter. Click on Update Drivers, and choose the Browse my computer for drivers. Choose let me pick from a list, Click on Have a Disk and point to the folder with the Drivers.
