How to remove Trojan virus java.exe and explorer.exe

Hello everyone I have installed the windows XP on mine system and everything on the system works fine without any issue. last night working on the system I have got the virus like java.exe and explorer.exe etc. now whenever I am working on the system I have got the both this virus and I don’t how to get ride this issue. I am using the Norton antivirus and it was fully updated. I have scanned mine system and after that also I have got this same issue. Now I don’t what to do, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.
