Unable to uninstall McAfee, getting NSIS error

I am using the windows 7 on mien system and under that I have also installed the McAfee antivirus. From last one week I have small issue on mine antivirus. Mine McAfee antivirus giving message me to scan the system frequently and its irritating me. So therefore I would like to suggested to uninstall the McAfee and so that I can solve mien issue. When I tried to uninstall the McAfee I got the message saying that:”NSIS error”. Now I don’t know how to solve this issue. Can anyone suggest on this issue.

I have gone through this same issue and I would like to suggest you to run your system on the safe mode and after that go through your issue and this will help you to solve you issue. to run on the safe mode restart your system and while restarting your system hit or press the F8 key from the keyboard continuously and after that you get the boot menu. Now on the boot menu go to the safe mode and networking and after that start your system on the safe mode and then try to uninstall the McAfee.

Hello thanks for replying and I would like to be thankful for your suggestion. As you said that I have tried to run the system on the safe mode. And when I started mine system on the safe mode and after that when I tried to uninstall the McAfee I have got the same issue. I have tried lots of time to uninstall but I have got the same issue. I have also gone through some threads but I didn’t have the any result. Now I don’t know what to can anyone suggest on this issue. Please help me on this.

According to me the NSIS error is related to virus and due to the virus you are not able to uninstall your antivirus and to solve this issue I would like to suggest you to perform the online scanning on your system and so that you can solve your issue. As above said that restart the system on the safe mode with networking. Now on the safe go through some official website and after that make online scanning on your system. Once you make the online scanning and after that try to uninstall your antivirus and it will help you to uninstall.

If above all solution doesn’t help you then I would like to suggest you to repair your operating system and so that you can get ride your issue. To do this you need to go through the following steps: first restart your system with the installation CD and after that hit the any key to boot the DVD driver. Once you hit that you will get the windows and under that select the language and after that hit the next. Now once you did this now on the installation windows select the repair and after that go through the steps given on the wizards. I hope this will help you.
