Found “securityrisk.orphaninf” while scan PC with Norton

Today morning when doing a scan of my PC a "securityrisk.orphaninf" was establish on that drive with a file called "autorun.inf". Luckily the file was detached by Norton. But I do scans of my computer's hard drive approximately each other day, and I did a scan of my portable hard drive last week (that was the last time I had the hard disk plugged in). And bearing in mind the portable hard drive is 1 years old, I am speculating whether or not it was a fake positive or that I missed something someplace.
