Mobile broadband support on huawei e1752

Want some help on using internet on huawei e1752 dongle. My friend has this and he gave that to me. I am trying to use my mobile internet on my Asus laptop through that. It is very slow. The sim looks to be working. I get a bit good surfing speed on my mobile phone but when I am trying to access the same through dongle I facing problem. Is there anyone who using the same dongle. How to increase internet speed on this.

You have to contact on customer care first and ask the sim that you have will work on usb dongle or not. There are some settings that you have to use on the pc. You can find those settings through the telecom provider via sms. You have to add those same things in the pc also and then you might get a constant speed. I also have a usb dongle, but it came with a sim card inside it. It works really fast.

Huawei e1752 is a high speed modem. The issue can be with your sim card. You are using a slow 2G internet. That is the reason you are getting slow speed. I have this modem and I am using a 3G internet on this. It works really fast. The modem is capable of giving 7.2Mbps of internet bandwidth. Compared to that what we get on our sim is much lower. Try a 3G sim on that and then check back.
