Best Network Attached Storage (NAS) Servers.

I have got several PCs in my network at office and I am looking for good network- attached storage (NAS) server/device. I have heard some NAS server provides just a shared volume for taking back ups and to share files across the network, while there are few high end servers which do a lot from sharing a printer among various networked computers to streaming audio/video. So I wanted to know brief detail about such NAS servers currently popular and available. If anybody has got any information, please help me.
