    Need help with tcp optimizer

Hello to all, I have require help from you with tcp optimizer. I am from London and I have ADSL Internet connection among 4096/512kbps. I have router “Huawei Aolink DR814”. On speed test I get next results that is the download speed is= 3.42MB and Upload speed is= 0.39MB and Ping is= 47MS. What I need from my internet? And what I expect from TCP optimizer? Well I do not mind for download speed and how quick open web pages my computer. I just require some pinch to get superior ping and lesser packet loss in Quake 3 Arena game. So please help me with optimization.

You can try the instruction with TCP Optimizer:
    • go in general Settings tab and try to check the all:
    • make the custom settings “check” if it is uncheck,
    • adjust All Network Adapters “check” if it is uncheck.
    • And network adapter selection “your NIC”
    • modify the MTU:-1500 and TTL:- 64
    • verify Offloading is “enabled 0” or not.
    • Make the windows Scaling “check”.
    • Set TCP receive window “128480”.
    • Make MTU Discovery “Yes” if it set as NO.
    • Make Black Hole Detect “No” if it is set as Yes.
    • Put the Selective Acks “Yes” if it is No.
    • Set max duplicate ACKs “2”
    • make TCP 1323 Options: Timestamps “uncheck” if it set as check.

When I read your problem on this forum then I contact to my friend who had the similar kind of problem and he suggested me about this so, as per his recommendation I would like to suggest you that, I believe your Operating System is Windows 7 or Windows Vista. And if it is Windows XP then Unscaled RWIN would be 5888. And one more thing here you have to log into router and make sure out the line speed it is getting from ISP.

Moreover your internet line is working through a proxy and those TCP properties are those of this proxy, or your Winsock is damaged. Verify the connection status of your Internet alternatives. And other option is you can use Google for searching Winsockfix and Microtrend's, after searching try to download it and then run it. Then reboot workstation and run the Analyzer. TCP Window should turn out to be 65535 as default.

I faced similar kind of problem before nearly 3 month ago in my case it was happens because of virus effects because I didn’t had any antivirus for my computer. That’s why I assume your computer has no antivirus software set up. I would like to suggest you that you have to download the Avast antivirus software and do a complete scan of your computer after that you have installed and updated it. I hope this information will help you a lot.
