| Re: Cannot Redirect Documents Library to network share on windows 7
I had the same issue on mine system and i had followed the below steps to resolve the issue. To do this, make hit on the Start icon on desktop and after that right click on the documents, after right clicking you will get some setting under that make hit on the Properties. Now on the documents Properties window, choose the library path that you want to remove and after that make hit on the Remove. After removing chooses the library that you want contain in your Documents and to do that click on the Include folder button. Now you will get one application under that you will get several folders, select your folder that you want add in your document and then make hit on the Set storage location. After that finally click on the apply button and hit the OK button. I hope this will help you lot in solving the issue. |

I would like to suggest you follow the steps below, so that you can solve your problem. To do this make click on the start icon and then make click on the user profile/user name, you will found this on the top of right side piece. After clicking you will find the My document, now make a right click on the my document and then select the properties. Now under the My document properties select the location tab and then make hit on the Move button. After that choose your remote resource, after that make click on the apply and then make hit on the OK button. I hope this will help you lot in solving the issue. |

The best way is with the user object in Active Directory to replace a part that is present on your server, for example: \ \ server03.domain.local \ home in the home directory object Users you choose the drive letter to be used for the home directory for example, H: and when complete the path \ \ server03.domain.local \ home \% username%, Documents to bring this place to create a policy for the OU where the users are in Active Directory. To do these select the User Configuration and then go to the Windows Settings. Under the windows setting choose the Folder Redirection, and the properties of My Documents. Now under the Destination tab, choose the "Basic - Redirect everyone's folder to the same location and the destination folder you select Redirect to the user's home folder. I hope this will help you lot. |
