    DHCP address

    Hi,

I have got 4 computers and they are connected to switch and the router. 3 of the computers are getting the dhcp from the server but the last one is getting the dhcp from the router. Please advise why is it like this? what can be done to fix it? Thanks

    Re: DHCP address

Well according to me the one PC which is getting the dhcp from the router is nothing but the main server of yours and all the other three pc’s are getting the IP through it. I mean to say that the router provides the IP to the main PC which it specifies as the main server and then the other are client in the same. Now the machine that is getting the DHCP from router is the Server and the other are clients . I hope that you are getting my point.
