After installing KAV 2011 getting popup to update to KAV Internet Security 2011

I have bought new Toshiba computer and I am using the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 is free for 6 months and now I have total 200 days. Yesterday I tried to update Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, when I updating the message encountered saying that “my license left 25 days only”. Now what I have to do to get back my previous license? Did I need uninstall or reinstall the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 for the earlier license. Can anyone suggest to this issue.

I think you need to check your system time and date. If you have wrong time and date in your system than this problem can occurs. To correct your system date and time follow these steps here:-
To verify your computer date and time.

• click on the start icon
• under that click on the control panel.
• Now select the Date Time and regional options.
• Under that choose the customize option.
• Now click on the date and time and enter the correct date and time to your system
• Finally click on the OK button

According to me you have written something wrong on your system. You said that you have installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 and then you write your updating it to Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. I would tell you Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 these both are different product. These both are use different key and license. Your 180 days license will not work on the KIS. Can you tell me which one you’re using?

Hello I use Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 and I have tried to update KAV Internet Security 2011. I have corrected my system date and time. But it doesn’t affect on my issue, the issue is popups again and again. Can anyone solve my issue?

If you’re upgrading the Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, then your license period of the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 will passed to Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. You can follow the steps to upgrade here:-Make sure that you have the activation key. Now download the copy that you want to upgrade. These are some of the steps to upgrade. First run the downloaded file and follow the rules and regulation given under that. At last activate your software, if software not activate automatically then remove the earlier version.
