Hi there everyone.
I have a slight problem here, as I am rather new in Networks Administration. Though, I am required to upgrade the current organisation's network from Class C network, to Class A network. I understand that IP addressing has got IP address, Subnet and gateway. My concern is this:
1. in depth IP addresses: can 2 or more computers, with different IP ranges, on the same subnet communicate or view with each other? is this called subnetting? example:
Client A: 10.1.1.55, 255.192.0.0
Client B: 10.9.18.121, 255.192.0.0
Server A: 10.1.1.11, 255.192.0.0
Gateway: 10.1.1.1, 255.192.0.0
Printer A: 10.18.33.1, 255.192.0.0
*i know Client A, Server A and the gateway is interconnected, but is Client B accessible to the Server / Gateway / Client A? And is the printer visible for the others?
I really appreciate your help and feedback on this. Its getting confused for me... I have been searching and google-ing on this matter... none found... or maybe its just me...
