Windows Vista and KIS 2011: KAV NDIS 6 filter preventing to view other devices attached to network

I am having very frustrating problem from past few days. Well I have installed Windows Vista x32 on the computer of mine. Also I have installed KIS 2011 on the computer of mine. I am unable to see any computers which are connected with network in to normal mode. However I can find the same computers in to safe mode with networking. I suspect that this problem is occurring due to KAV NDIS 6 filter. Any idea to fix the problem will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Well looking the matter I recommend that you should use GetSystemInfo in order to create the log file of this particular situation. You can download this GetSystemInfo tool form the official website of the Kaspersky. You have to click on Next button in order to create the log file of this particular situation. Well log file be automatically transferred to the Clip board with the default settings. Also you can connect the log file to your post by simply creating link to the clip board to the post of yours.

Let me know whether you are connected with Wi-Fi or wired connection? Also see that you have updated the drivers of the Network Interface Card. You can get the drive of the NIC from the official website of the NIC manufacturer. Also I recommend that you should not uninstall Kaspersky NDIS filter from the computer of yours since it might remove some of the protection which is provided by it. So work on the above matter and let me know what result it generates.

Well I was having the same problem which you have posted in this particular thread. I have done the following work around to fix the problem which I am going to post over here.
    • You have to click on Settings and go for Firewall
    • Now again click on Settings again below the Firewall option.
    • You have to click on Network.
    • You have to right click on Network and select and choose Trusted and simply click on Ok button to apply the settings which you have done.
I am hoping that above mentioned steps will help you to fix the problem.

If any of the above suggestion did not help at all to fix the problem then I recommend that you should contact helpdesk of the Kaspersky with the issue of yours. According to me they are the only person who can fix the problem of yours. Helpdesk will generate a ticket number for your problem and you can refer that particular ticket number for the further communication with helpdesk team. I am hoping that helpdesk will solve the problem.
