How to solve SAM locked file. Not tested issue Error message in AVG?

I am currently suing AVG antivirus in my computer. One day I decided to run AVG for scanning of my system. I started scanning process in safe mode at that instant I got an Error message. The Error message was SAM locked file. Not tested. I don’t know what type of message is? Can anyone tell me how resolve this issue because I wanted to scan my all system.

Dude, one thing I can tell you is that whenever you scan your entire system, there are some locked file they done allow AVG for scanning and this is write thing. If the files are fully filled with virus then AVG antivirus blocked all files. If you want scan your file I would suggest please use AVG rescue CD which are available in the market.

My point of view I would suggest you that please scan your system in normal mode. If you are scanning your system in safe mode then you will get such type of error message. If you are scanning in safe mode then you can see that most of the applications do not open. So there scan your system in normal then you will see, scanning process would be good.
